A major item was to discuss a new grants stream available. This was £50,000 to the vol & community sector across Berks. This would be in small amounts up to £1000, young person led projects, with very easy application procedures. More information to follow when available from Joe.</div> <div> Headline News</div> <div> <I>ISA (Information Sharing and Assessment) protocol.</I></div> <div> This protocol has now been completed and will be signed by the statutory agencies. The voluntary sector will be involved in the second wave and we will need to spend some time looking at the impact of this on voluntary agencies. There is training available to all agencies in March. Details of how to book were distributed and will be emailed to the RCVYS mailing list</div> <div> <I>LPS (Local Preventative Strategy)</I></div> <div> The Local Preventative Strategy is being finalised. This will detail how services will be configured to attempt to help prevent children & young people needing the higher levels of support by detecting their need at an earlier stage. Some of the Trailblazers have looked at this and commented in depth. Draft documents are available to anyone who is interested. </div> <div> Reading Trailblazers updates</div> <div> - left due to time constraints.</div> <div> A New Name</div> <div> - only idea was RCVCYS (Reading Council for Voluntary Children's and Youth Services).
